Privacy Policy

Only what the keepsake needs:

• First names and dates of birth for both people
• Optional time and place of birth, if you offer them
• How the two of you are related
• The generated reading, so we can lay out your PDF after PayPal
• The background and offer you chose
• Payment confirmation from PayPal (we do not see your full card number)
• Your email address from PayPal or a coupon, so we can send your PDFs and print instructions and keep a record of purchase
• A mailing name, address, and optional phone, only if you choose print-and-mail, so we can post the card
• A print-credit key stored in your browser after a purchase
• An optional email, stored only in your browser, if you create a dashboard
• Copies of readings you generate, stored only in your browser so your dashboard can show this contract and later orders

Names and birth details are sent to our writing service so Cosmo can compose the reading. We keep a copy of that reading on our server long enough to finish checkout and hand you the PDF. PayPal receives what it needs to take payment. The browser key lets you use remaining prints without paying again. If you buy a print, we email your Soul Contract PDF and printing guide (automated receipts send from our shop domain; you can reach us at SoulContractGenerator@gmail.com) and save your email in our shop database (Vercel Postgres) to honour the order and avoid duplicate receipts. If you choose print-and-mail, we email the shop the print PDF and the mailing address so we can post the card.

We do not sell your birth data, readings, or email list.

OpenAI receives the names, dates, and any time or place you entered, solely to generate the reading. PayPal processes the purchase. Resend delivers purchase emails from our shop address. Vercel hosts the site and stores purchaser emails in Postgres. Checkout files on the server hold your reading briefly so the download can complete after you return from PayPal. Those companies must handle the information only to provide their service.

Checkout files are not meant as a permanent archive. Unpaid readings are dropped after a couple of days; paid ones are kept only as long as we need them to honour print credits, then removed. Purchaser emails in Postgres are kept to support your order and reprints. The licence key in your browser stays until you clear the site data. Server logs may keep technical traces for a short time for security.

Time and place of birth are optional. You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we still hold, or ask us to delete a checkout record, by emailing SoulContractGenerator@gmail.com. We may need to keep a fragment of a paid order where the law requires it (for example, proof of purchase).

The purchaser must be 18 or older. A parent may include a child’s first name and birth date on a keepsake about that family bond. Do not submit a child’s details for any other purpose.

We use HTTPS, keep payment on PayPal’s pages, and do not store card numbers. No internet transmission is perfectly sealed; we take care that is reasonable for a small shop.
